FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What is laser engraving?
Laser engraving is the process of leaving a permanent deep mark in a material using a laser beam. Unlike other more mechanical methods, the heat of the beam will melt and vaporize the portion of material that it is being aimed at. What’s left behind is a smooth, permanent engraving. Higher power settings allow us to cut through materials as thick as 1/2".
2. What types of materials can be laser engraved/cut?
We can engrave and cut a wide variety of materials such as wood, paper, plastic, leather, glass, anodized aluminum, titanium and more.
3. What types of materials CAN'T be laser engraved?
Gold, silver, brass and copper unfortunately are too soft and don't engrave well. Materials such as PVC, vinyl, ABS, epoxy and fiberglass can catch fire and also release poisonous gases when laser engraved.
4. What's the largest object that you can laser engrave?
We are able to engrave items that are no larger than 11" deep x 19" wide x 2" tall.
5. Can you engrave on bottles, glasses or water bottles ?
Unfortunately we can't but we can engrave a lot of other things.
6. Can photos and images be engraved?
Yes! High-quality photos and images are regularly engraved onto a wide range of materials.
7. How long does it take to have my thing engraved?
That all depends on the things size and complexity of the content being engraved onto the thing. Most small projects can be completed within 1-2 days. Larger batch orders can take longer. Call us for details.
8. Do you accept returns on the engraved products you sell?
Unfortunately, due to the custom/personalized nature of the products we create and sell, we are not able to offer returns or refunds. If a product you receive is damaged in shipping or otherwise defective, we will gladly replace it with the same item.
